While
shopping for my weekly fruits and veggies, I spot a fruit vendor’s cart selling
pink guavas’ I pick up a few and head home to try something
different. I almost always bite into them- take a large chunky juicy bite, or add
some salt and chili powder. First I thought of making jam or a jelly which my nani
used to make, she had a pink guava tree in her garden and every summer we had a
fresh stock of her delicious jams and jelly’s ready for breakfast. But then I decided against it, dint want to add to the calories and the already difficult weight loss process. Wanted to try something quick and
healthy so thought of making a simple tasty guava juice.
A
little about these healthy fruits:
Guava contains Vitamins such as Vitamin C &
Vitamin E, it is great for the skin and being rich in fiber helps digestion.
They also contain minerals such as potassium, copper and manganese. A single common guava, fruit contains about four times
the amount of vitamin C as an orange.

Guava juice is not only tasty but beneficial for
the body; it helps to heartburn and
relieves constipation and thirst. Drinking a glass of juice every night makes
the body fresh and healthy.
